Billy is a seasoned leader in the plumbing and HVAC construction industry with over 40 years of hands-on experience. As the CEO of the company, Billy is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, ensuring excellence in service delivery and maintaining the high standards Southeastern is known for. Because he understands the many challenges facing the plumbing and HVAC trades, he maintains close contact with management and our field operations to navigate the choppy waters of our industry.

Billy holds a BS in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Western Carolina University, bringing a strong technical foundation to his work. His expertise is further enhanced by his Unlimited NC Plumbing License (P1), HVAC licenses (H2) and certification for Ventilation on Commercial Kitchen Hoods.
​
Since the beginning of his career in 1985 with a large engineering and manufacturing company that specialized in HVAC equipment, Billy has built a reputation for his deep knowledge and commitment to the field. His leadership continues to drive success in both commercial and industrial projects across North and South Carolina.

Paula serves as Vice President at Southeastern, where she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the company. With a background in Business Administration from UNC Charlotte and certification as a Notary Public, Paula brings both academic knowledge and practical skills to her role.
At Southeastern, her primary responsibility is to oversee the company’s financial operations, ensuring that strategies and controls are in place to maintain fiscal discipline. She manages all financial transactions, prepares comprehensive financial reports, and contributes to the budgeting process, all while supporting the company’s growth and stability.
In addition, Paula conducts internal control audits to ensure compliance with legal and ethical business practices. She also provides financial training to employees, evaluates potential financial risks, and prepares income statements. Paula’s leadership and attention to detail are essential to Southeastern’s smooth financial operations and long-term success.

Ryan is a seasoned HVAC Operations Manager with over a decade of experience in the HVAC industry. At Southeastern, Ryan oversees the entire operations of the HVAC department, including estimating, project management, personnel coordination, budgeting, and purchasing. His leadership and expertise ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently, delivering top-tier HVAC services to clients across the Carolinas. Ryan's role continues to expand as the company expands.

​Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from UNC Charlotte. His commitment to excellence and proven track record in the HVAC field continues to elevate Southeastern’s HVAC operations to new heights.

richie moss

Richie brings over 35 years of experience in the plumbing industry to his role as Operations Manager at Southeastern Plumbing and Heating. With a North Carolina Plumbing Certification, OSHA 10, and First Aid/CPR certifications, Richie ensures the highest standards of safety and professionalism across every project. Richie began his career with Southeastern in 1984 as a Plumber's Helper. Since then, he has advanced to plumber, foreman, estimator, project manager, to his current position of Plumbing Operations Manager. Southeastern has greatly benefited due to Richie's knowledge, work ethic, and "can do" attitude.

In his role, Richie expertly manages the day-to-day operations, coordinating project execution and leading teams to deliver efficient and high-quality results. His deep industry knowledge and hands-on approach make him a driving force behind Southeastern's operational success.

With 28 years of experience in the Plumbing industry, Shawn is a seasoned Project Manager who oversees all plumbing projects and field operations at Southeastern.

Shawn started with Southeastern in 2016 as a Plumbing Foreman and was promoted to Plumbing Project Manager in 2022. Shawn brings a wealth of technical knowledge to our field operations.
​
He excels in managing teams, coordinating job meetings, and ensuring smooth collaboration with general contractors. Shawn's extensive experience is complemented by his certifications, including an OSHA 30 certification and a South Carolina Mechanical Contractor License.

Chuck is a Senior Project Manager in HVAC with over 42 years of extensive experience in the Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing sectors, both in commercial and residential settings. He is a highly skilled professional, licensed with a North Carolina Mechanical Contractors License (H2 & H3), EPA Universal Refrigerant License, and IMACA Mobile Refrigerant License, demonstrating his comprehensive expertise in HVAC systems.

​Chuck studied at York Technical College and Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC). In addition to his hands-on experience, Chuck is also an instructor in the AHR HVAC program at CPCC, where he shares his vast knowledge and experience with the next generation of HVAC professionals.
​
​He is responsible for overseeing large-scale HVAC projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. His role involves coordinating with clients, managing project teams, and leveraging his extensive industry knowledge to deliver high-quality results. Chuck’s decades of experience and dedication to excellence make him a pivotal member of the Southeastern team, where he continues to lead and mentor others in the HVAC field.

Bobby is a highly qualified Environmental Safety and Health Manager with over 16 years of experience in safety and six years of experience in the plumbing industry. With an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) and a wealth of certifications, Bobby is a dedicated safety professional focused on ensuring the well-being of Southeastern’s employees and subcontractors.

Certified as an OSHA 500 and 501 Trainer, Bobby brings comprehensive knowledge in safety regulations and best practices. He is also certified in multiple specialties, including Environmental Safety and Health (MESH), Public Sector Management (PS-MESH), Industrial Hygiene (IH-MESH), and Emergency Preparedness (EP-MESH). Additionally, Bobby is a certified CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor and holds OSHA Safety and Health Fundamentals in Construction credentials.
At Southeastern, Bobby’s top priority is ensuring the safety of all employees and subcontractors through rigorous training, compliance with OSHA regulations, and loss prevention strategies. His expertise extends to safeguarding company property and providing vital support to field operations.

Brenton is a skilled Plumbing Estimator with over 11 years of experience in the plumbing industry, including 4 years specializing in estimating. He plays a critical role at Southeastern, where he prepares accurate cost estimates for commercial plumbing systems, ensuring all aspects—labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other costs—are thoroughly considered.

Brenton has over 6 years of field plumbing expereince which strengthens his estimating abilities. Brenton is currently the Pre-Construction Manager for both HVAC and Plumbing departments. His ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both general contractors and subcontractors has made him an invaluable asset to Southeastern's operations. He is proficient in FastEST.

Micheal Patrick has 38 years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry, working in both contracting and manufacturer’s representative sales. He serves as a Senior HVAC Estimator at Southeastern Plumbing, Heating & AC, bringing hands-on experience and HVAC system knowledge to every project.​ As an Estimator, Micheal handles complete project estimates, including labor, material, and installation costs for commercial/light industrial projects. He works with subcontractors and vendors to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
​
As a Manufacturer’s Representative, Micheal managed sales calls, project take-offs, product selection, pricing, and prepared sales proposals. He also handled follow-ups, negotiations, submittal data, operation & maintenance manuals, and project management, always ensuring a personal touch and dedication to client satisfaction. In his role as a Commercial Sheet Metal Installer/Lead Sheet Metal Mechanic, Micheal led a crew of 5-10 for duct system installations, ensuring code compliance and coordinating with general contractors and other trades to maintain project schedules.

Educated in the “school of hard knocks,” Micheal’s experience equips him with the skills to excel in the HVAC industry. Outside of work, he enjoys working on hot rods, auto restoration, and cheering for University of Tennessee football.

Jose serves as Senior Plumbing Estimator and brings 20 years of experience in plumbing to the company. He earned his degree in Civil Engineering from Nueva Esparta University and has developed a strong foundation in both the technical and managerial aspects of his field.

Jose holds certifications in AutoCAD Drafting and Design, AutoCAD Tips and Tricks, Land-Cad, EST-MEP Fabricator, as well as proficiency in Quote Soft and Fast Pipe Estimating Programs. His expertise allows him to deliver precise and efficient estimates for complex projects.

Fluent in five languages—English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and German—Jose brings a unique global perspective to his role at Southeastern, facilitating clear communication across diverse teams and projects. His two decades of industry experience, technical expertise, and multilingual abilities make him an indispensable asset to Southeastern’s plumbing estimating team

Mike is an experienced HVAC Estimating Pre-Bid Coordinator with over 22 years of experience in the HVAC industry. Since retiring from GE and joining Southeastern in 2002, Mike has been a key player in supporting HVAC estimators , preparing bids, and ensuring efficiency in the pre-bid process.

His role also includes providing assistance as assigned by Southeastern's management team and contributing to the company's overall success.
​
Mike holds a BS in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri - St. Louis, combining his technical knowledge with management skills to streamline processes amd support complex projects. He is also a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina (License L43723/Q12900) and holds an inactive Home Inspector license (License 1120), showcasing his broad experience in construction.

Kasie has been with Southeastern for over a decade and has served as the Senior Administrator for several years. She brings expertise in human resources, payroll, billing, and invoicing to the business. A graduate of Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) and a certified Notary Public, she plays a vital role in managing daily operations, ensuring efficient administrative support, and providing superior customer service.

Beyond her professional life, Kasie enjoys spending time with her family and watching her sons excel in sports. She takes pride in contributing to the legacy of Southeastern, helping to preserve the Family company's values for future generations.

With 5 years of experience in the plumbing industry, Madison serves as an Assistant Project Manager at Southeastern Plumbing and Heating. Madison holds essential certifications, including OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and First Aid/CPR, ensuring a strong focus on safety and compliance in every project.
In this role, Madison supports our Project Management team from project inception to completion, overseeing timekeeping, and managing the company's Procore platform and iPad systems. Madison's dedication to detail and organization supports Southeastern's ongoing success in delivering high-quality work across all projects.
